What can I say? Lucy was such a joy to Ralph. They had an extremely close relationship, as he was much more involved in her daily life than many dads were at the time. We came home 4 hours after Lucy's birth, preferring to stay together during those early hours/days in the comfort of our cozy little Cambridge cottage. He would walk proudly around the neighborhood holding this tiny wonder who weighed in at 6 lbs. 3 oz.

September 7, 2013: Lucy is now a graduate of Tulane Law School and is working for the US House of Representatives. Ralph would definitely be proud. Below is a picture of her with her fiance', Brian, who is also a graduate of Tulane Law School. We are delighted and know that Ralph would be thrilled with Lucy's engagement to Brian, a smart, kind and very likeable young man who is a wonderful match for Lucy. They will be married in January 2014.
September 7, 2018. Lucy continues to prosper as a beautiful and talented woman who is married to this fine gentleman and a mother to Hannah who is now 2 1/2 years old. I see much of Ralph in Lucy, particularly her care about people and social justice issues and her intellect.
Lucy and Brian were married in January 2014 during the week of a major snowstorm and below 0 temperatures. Despite the weather, most people made it to the wedding, some taking heroic measures to get there, and Lucy got the white wedding she wanted.
Here Hannah is helping mom out at work. Ralph would be such a proud and engaged Granddad to Hannah. I am sure he is smiling at this picture of young Hannah who is a smart, active and very social little person (like her Grandad Ralph).
